Col-Ovo is an AI tool for automated counting of Aedes aegypti eggs from smartphone images. A YOLOv11m model was trained on 275 oviposition substrates captured in situ without preprocessing. The system achieves >95% agreement with expert counts, reducing processing time from ~15 minutes to under 3 seconds per sample. The platform requires no specialized hardware and integrates with OviLab to strengthen vector surveillance for dengue, Zika, and chikungunya.
Peer-reviewed publications in international journals and proprietary data platforms.

Disruptive, cost-effective education to raise the academic ceiling for rural students in Colombia's flood-prone areas.
Fundación Chilloa develops scientific and technological solutions for vulnerable territories. We are not a traditional NGO: we are an innovation center that operates where the problem and the opportunity exist.
Three vertices that reinforce each other: when one grows, the other two grow as well.
A model replicable in other amphibious territories of Latin America.
We are looking for government, international cooperation and private-sector partners willing to invest in a model with measurable impact.
